Patti Hill published her first novel, Like a Watered Garden, in 2005, which Publishers Weekly declared “intriguing” and “fresh.”  She has been an ALA finalist for Book of the Year in the religious category and her novel, The Queen of Sleepy Eye, was featured in the in-flight magazine of American Airlines, American Way. The San Clemente Bait Shop and Telephony is her first story set outside of Colorado. It is a 2017 finalist for the Colorado Book Award. Her stories lift readers out of the ordinary to discover what is wondrous. Patti lives in Colorado with her husband and wonder dog, Tillie. Her two grown sons live too far away with their lovely brides. She is waiting not-so-very patiently to be a grandmother. She believes in miracles.

"After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world."
~ Phillip Pullman
