I'm an author from Thunder Bay, Ontario, born and raised here. I've been writing part-time since 2001, my initial inspiration was 9-11 of all things. My favourite genre of writing is poetry; however, I also enjoy fiction, non-fiction, and children's literature. I believe poetry to be both fiction and non-fiction. Living with a disability (depression), writing is almost like a daily therapy for my illness, writer's block never helps however. I have several publishing credits, including work with and for The Poetry Institute of Canada, Reader's Digest, Canadian Geographic, Lake Superior Magazine, and my local newspaper, The Chronicle-Journal. I also have keen editing and proofreading skills amidst my wealth of expertise. My hobbies include walking, hiking, camping, swimming, and volunteering.
